Julia Wade And Friends – Part 13: Quite A Time
Imagine the manger the morning after Jesus was born.
You’re one of the shepherds or perhaps a wise one or even one of the animals – a little lamb or a donkey. You’ve been up all night unable to sleep with excitement because with the star still above and the presence of this newborn Christ child, the world that lies before you is somehow different and the air is abundant with hope and promise.
It’s been quite a night, a historic moment in time, and you have been most privileged to attend.
The feeling among all present is one of total satisfaction with the world and a most special bond of togetherness. One of the shepherd boys picks up his lute and begins softly to play. The moment is celebrated in song …
Quite A Time

Isn’t it quite a time
Holy
Isn’t it quite a day
Christ is born
Isn’t it quite a place
This manger
Here in the Father’s house
On this day
Isn’t he quite the child
Sleeping
Feel the peace he brings
Child of God
Isn’t it quite a thing
Of wonder
Here in the miracle
Of this day
In this simple backcountry stable
The Father’s son, the savior is born
Born into this humble straw cradle
And now the world awaits the promise of this
Glorious morn
Isn’t it quite a time
Hosanna
We welcome ascendant man
This sweet child
Here in our Father’s house
Holy
And oh how the world will change
From this day forth
It’s time to sing hallelujah
Hallelujah
Hallelujah
Hallelujah
Hallelu
Hallelujah
Isn’t it time to sing hallelujah
Hallelujah
Hallelujah
Hallelu
Hallelu
Here beneath a star we have gathered
Here in that manger
Here to celebrate this moment sublime
Knowing that we stand on this threshold
Glorifying God in this moment in time
Isn’t it quite the hour
Holy
Isn’t it quite the time
To celebrate
Gloria
It’s a new day of promise
Isn’t it quite the day
Of promise
Isn’t it quite a time
The Christ is born
Isn’t it quite a time
Isn’t it quite a time
Isn’t it quite a time for Heaven
To come and visit Earth
Isn’t it quite a time
Whoo Whoo Whoo Whoo

You’re right, Violet. The wall tapestries are quite beautiful. I wish I had an empty wall to add to. Thanks for writing in.
Since childhood, my grandmother taught me to love and appreciate old things. So I grew up and realized that I just adore all vintage. I especially like maps. I am a person who can not imagine my life without traveling! I inherited from my grandmother an old house with a fireplace in the hallway. And above it – an empty wall. My husband and I have been looking for something so special for the interior to adhere to the grandmother’s style. We came across a very creative and interesting site, Texelprintstore.com. My husband ordered antique world map canvas in gold shades. The quality is amazing! In addition, the canvas successfully joined the surrounding interior and even fit on the wall, above the fireplace! This store is just a storehouse for inspiration.
