On June 1, 2009 Watchfire Music will launch its new website.  With greatly improved functionality and complete re-design, the site will remain basically an ecommerce record company and on-line store selling Inspirational CDs, album downloads and singles and digital sheet music, but will add many new features both requested by customers and envisioned by its designers and staff.

James Birch, President of Watchfire Music announced today that, “We redesigned the look and feel of the WFM site and are re-launching the site  using the Linux operating platform.   Visitors and artists will now be able to create an interactive community. Activities like bulletin boards for commentary, blog posts, and video clips are just around the corner. And we will feature a WFM radio widget that plays your favorite music from WFM artists that you can listen to while visiting WFM and also take with you as you surf the Web.”

“We’re adding a new video player that loads instantly to play music videos as well as inspirational videos from other sites. (Think Susan Boyle and the buzz that created.) Coming soon are visitor supplied inspirational video moments on the WFM site. This means you should all send us your Inspirational videos!”

Modeled after both the NY Times and Tiffany’s site, WFM will now feature a cleaner look, a more professional functionality enabling the visitor far greater ease of use.  Its beautiful new design by NY web designer, J.C. Suares, now follows Web culture more closely making negotiation of its more than 600 pages a joy and a breeze.

Also the new Linux operating platform will enable the WFM staff, its programmers and designers long-awaited ease of use enabling much greater creativity and opportunity for change.  Steve Stiert and Steve Wehr of Tuned-In Web are programming the new site and will stay on as fully functional and professional technical help.  This is most exciting to the WFM staff and will free them all up to bring you, our customers, a much more organized visit and an Inspirational Community that you can call your own.
