WFM Radio
Well, it’s truly just around the corner. I know we’ve been promising this for a long time now, but finally I can say for certain the immortal words, “Coming Soon!”
We’ve been talking about this widget/gadget/app for over a year now and I’m more than happy to report that we’re in the last stages of production. It’s so “done” that I’m finishing up the programming for each genre this coming week and you should see the first beta tests this April.
We’re excited here at WFM because you’ve been asking for this for some time now. People I speak to every day have said repeatedly, “I go to Watchfire Music every day just to listen to the samples.” This has actually been somewhat frustrating to me because as a composer/producer I want our customers and fans to hear the whole song – not just a 1:00 sample.
So now you can do that and a whole lot more.
We’ll start with a cool, simple to use, free radio app that you can pick up at the site each morning and play 24/7.
Surfing the web? Take it with you.
Doing your work around the house? Listen to WFM artists in the background.
Choose from, at first, 6 different genres of music. Listen to a two-hour program of your favorite music – no commercials.
Hear something you like? Buy it right off the radio.
Hear something you don’t like? (How could that possibly be at WFM?) Hit ‘skip’ and skip over it. You get 3 skips in a 2 hour set.
We’ll be creating new 2 hour programs each month.
Finish with a 2 hour program? Just choose another from our drop-down window right off the radio itself. No need to go back to WFM site to choose new programs.
It’s so easy to use it doesn’t even come with a set of instructions. It’s just like turning on the radio. In fact, it’s exactly like turning on the radio.
Best of all, it’s free – no money, no sign-in, no email giveaway, no nuttin’.
Watch for it in April, 2010. That’s a promise!
